Participating Countries

Organisations and individual cultural and creative professionals from the following countries are eligible to apply to the Creative Europe programme:

• EU Member States

• Associated Countries

  • Candidate Countries for EU Membership

  • Countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) – Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein

  • Other third countries that participate in the Creative Europe programme and/or are in negotiations for an association agreement, provided that such an agreement enters into force before the grant agreement is signed. 

A full list of associated countries and countries that have expressed interest in becoming associated is available here. Participation of these countries in the programme is only possible if an appropriate agreement is signed.

Important Note: Participation of associated countries depends on the signature of an agreement with the European Commission. This means that countries that have expressed interest in participating may only apply if the agreement is signed before the publication date of the grant results.

Armenia currently fully participates in the CULTURE strand, partially participates in the CROSS-SECTORAL strand, under which the Creative Europe Desk Armenia operates and does not participate in the MEDIA strand.
