European Heritage Awards 2027

Only one week left to apply! There is still time to submit your application for the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2027, supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union!

Are you working on a heritage project that deserves to stand out? Then this could be your moment to shine! From restoring historic sites to keeping traditions alive, your work could earn Europe-wide recognition. Open to individuals, teams and organisations, the awards celebrate outstanding projects across five categories, from conservation and research to education and community engagement.

Every year, the Awards honour up to 30 outstanding heritage achievements, including up to five Grand Prix. Each winner of a Grand Prix receives a monetary award of €10,000. In addition, the Public Choice Award is presented to one of the selected award winners, following an online vote conducted by Europa Nostra.

Awards are given in the following five categories:

• Conservation & Adaptive Reuse

• Research

• Education, Training & Skills

• Citizens’ Engagement & Awareness-raising
