📚 European Authors Day 2025 Celebrations Have Officially Begun!

The European Authors Day events kicked off on 11 November 2025 and will continue until 12 December 2025, accompanied by the hashtag #ReadForReal.

The European Authors Day initiative aims to promote European literature and foster a genuine interest in reading. It encourages especially young people to explore the richness of European literary traditions and discover the diverse voices of contemporary European authors.

In 2025, the EU’s Creative Europe programme invites local organisers, schools, libraries, and bookstores to initiate and host their own reading events within their communities.
